About

Raven Branhard

Raven Branhard is a poet, abstract artist and musician whose work moves between words, colour, sound and light.

His poetry is drawn to the meeting places between the inner and natural worlds: love and longing, silence and absence, memory, renewal, and the brief moments in which the ordinary seems to reveal something more.

Growing up in Iran, Raven was surrounded by a culture in which poetry is woven into everyday life. Persian poetry remains part of the imaginative ground from which his own work has grown, alongside a long-standing interest in contemplative thought, nature and the possibilities of stillness.

That same instinct carries into his abstract paintings and music. Rather than treating these as separate practices, he sees them as different ways of approaching the same elusive territory — sometimes through language, sometimes through colour, a guitar, or silence itself.

A Path of the Heart, Volume I is his first poetry collection and the opening volume in an ongoing series.

Raven's work is collected here as one creative space: poems to read and hear, paintings to encounter, and music to listen to.
